SLC provides cargo handling service, especially for the importation of raw materials for automotive manufacturer. The cargo handling process can be conducted once the goods arrive at the loading port (FOB term) until the cargo is well- received at the factory. During this process the importer has these following options, such as:
a. Direct inland delivery from Port of Discharge (in Indonesia) to importer’s warehouse and or other nominated warehouse for the shearing, slitting, cutting etc.
b. Cargo delivery will be transit over at the SLC’s warehouse for short store keeping. This is the solution for making cost efficiency, or with the consideration that consignee’s warehouse is in full capacity. The importer may instruct to make subsequent deliveries at any time they want.
c. Cargo delivery to cross- docking first. This solution is made with the consideration to the simplicity of unloading/loading process and safety matter. SLC conducts cross-docking by moving the cargo from one transportation mode to another at the same time.
